Drying Adhesives

Drying adhesives

These glues are a mixture of ingredients (characteristically polymers) dissolved in a solvent. White adhesive and rubber cements are members of the drying adhesive family. As the solvent evaporates, the glue hardens. Depending on the chemical composition of the adhesive, they will stick to different materials to better or lesser degrees. These adhesives are characteristically weak and are used for household applications.
